Terms of Service

This is a launch draft prepared ahead of formal legal review — not attorney-reviewed. Treat it as an honest, plain-language starting point, not final legal advice.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Effective: July 24, 2026 · Version 0.2.0-draft

Before launch, these terms must be completed and reviewed with the operator’s identity, age policy, governing-law and consumer-rights language, moderation process, and final commercial terms. We will not invent those facts here.

Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of WillSee (Побачимо) — the app and this website. By creating an account, continuing as a guest, or otherwise using WillSee, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What WillSee is

WillSee is a personal and social watchlist for movies and TV: you save titles, track what you're watching, scan posters or screenshots to identify titles, see what friends have watched, and get a recommendation for what to watch tonight. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Accounts

You can use WillSee as a guest with no account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, you're responsible for keeping that sign-in secure and for activity on your account. You must be old enough to use Apple's or Google's sign-in service in your country, and you're responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide.

Acceptable use

Use WillSee for its intended purpose — tracking and sharing what you watch. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or send unsolicited material through social features. Do not circumvent another person’s block, Ghost mode, or per-title privacy. Do not misuse image recognition, upload material you lack rights to share, scrape or bulk-extract the catalogue, or use the service unlawfully.

Your content

You retain ownership of ratings, notes, lists, images, and links you create or upload. You grant WillSee a limited licence to store, process, transmit, and display that content only to operate the service and only to the audience you choose. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it and that it does not unlawfully expose another person’s personal data. We do not use this licence for model training.

Pricing

WillSee does not offer subscriptions in this launch draft. If paid features are introduced, their price, renewal, cancellation, refund, and consumer-withdrawal terms will be presented before purchase and added here before they are offered.

Communications

If you join the launch waitlist, we send a small, finite set of launch-related emails: one announcement when WillSee launches, up to two follow-up reminders, and — if you sign up — at most one getting-started note. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing is unconditional and permanent, and we honor it for all future sends. We do not send marketing email to app accounts that never joined the waitlist. Notifications inside the app are controlled separately in the app's settings.

Third-party services

WillSee relies on TMDB for catalog data, Anthropic for image recognition on titles you choose to scan, Apple/Google for optional sign-in, and Telegram or an SMS carrier (Twilio) to deliver one-time codes if you verify your phone number, and Google (Firebase Crashlytics) for crash and error diagnostics. Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms, where applicable.

Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account in the app or request deletion from the web deletion page at any time. We may restrict or suspend access for a serious violation, legal requirement, or security risk. When we take action against content or an account, we will provide the affected user with the reason and an available way to contact us about the decision where required.

Disclaimers

WillSee is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep recommendations, scanning results, and catalog data accurate, but we don't guarantee that AI-identified titles, ratings, or recommendations will always be correct or available without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WillSee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Changes to these terms

For a material change, we will give advance notice, provide a plain-language summary, and update the version history. You may reject a material change by stopping use and deleting your account without penalty, subject to mandatory law.

Governing law

The applicable law and forum must be completed by the operator and reviewed by counsel before launch. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove consumer-protection rights that mandatory law gives you in your country of residence.
